YOUR MISSION, YOUR LIFE, YOUR STORY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sound familiar? That’s because it’s the mission statement of the Girl Scouts. Mission statements highlight what an organization or company stands for and what it aspires to be. Look up some of the mission statements for your favorite brands. What do they say? Do they speak to you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can benefit from writing a mission statement, too! A mission statement gives you the opportunity to state who you are, what’s important to you, and where you want to go-all in one neat story line. Being tuned in to their own personal mission is something all leaders aim for! They Discover themselves and their values and then rely on those values as they Connect with others and Take Action in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So write a short mission statement for living your bliss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Draw on all that you have explored along this journey- your values, standards, and passions-to identify what you stand for and what you aspire to be. No need to make the writing perfect. Just focus on capturing a set of ideas that represent you. You can revisit and revise anytime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And remember: You are an Ambassador for the Girl Scout mission! How does that shape your BLISS mission? SPREAD THE BLISS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Try this with friends!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Think we’re kidding?<\/p>\n\n\n\n We’re not! A personal mission is worth wearing on your sleeve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So be proud of it and share it around with friends and family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Who knows?<\/p>\n\n\n\n You might inspire others to create their own mission statements, too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n HELP YOUR DREAMER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Next, think about the final step you want your “adopted dreamer” to achieve, and write it on one sheet of paper. Once you have that final step in place, work backwards to come up with all the steps necessary to reach that final goal. Remember, the final goal does not have to be full realization of the dream. Each step doesn’t need to be perfectly accurate, or final.
