LMK: Life Online

As you know, I love the computer and I know my girl scouts do too. I’ve found a wonderful site for Girl Scouts called LMK: Life Online. It has great information about staying safe online, fighting cyber bullying, avoiding viruses, keeping your photos and other info safe when you share them with friends and much much more! Check it out!

And if you’re a senior, talk to your parents about letting you join our senior virtual troop, to work on the “Sow What?” journey. It will take 6 weeks and there will be online troop meetings and assignments that you can do with a parent or other girl scout friends. At the end of the journey you have the option to complete the “take action project” and earn the Harvest Award. If you do that, then the journey will count toward the pre-requisite requirements for the Gold Award. Orientation will be at the Bonita Library on Sunday October 23rd from 4-5pm. You do not need to be in Sunnytrails service unit to join us but you do need to be a registered Senior Girl Scout in grades 9 or 10.
