As a reminder, all in-person Girl Scout activities/events have been cancelled, postponed, or moved to a virtual platform until further notice. We are doing our part to help keep you and your loved ones safe by practicing social distancing and adhering to council’s restriction of no in-person gatherings at this time. - THANK YOU AND WELCOME NEW TEAM MEMBERS!
We would like to thank our service unit leadership team members who are vacating their roles this year and taking on different responsibilities or have “retired.”
- Stacy Becerra has completed her term as our IRM Service Unit Manager. Her daughter Amanda graduated this past June, which means Stacy has also graduated! Stacy also served as our Service Unit Fall Coordinator for a number of years. We welcome Julia Robles to the team as she takes on that role this new year.
- Cathy Ecija has served her 3 year term as our Daisy/Brownie Service Unit Manager. She won’t be far, as she will be assuming the roles of our SU Registrar and SU Membership Recruiter this new year.
- Mariana Pagdanganan has vacated her role as our SU Treasurer. Lily Valmidiano will be taking her place; and Lily will also be serving as our new SHARE Coordinator
- Julie Wunderly has vacated her role as our SU Registrar. Cathy Ecija will be assuming the role.
We appreciate each of them and are grateful for their time, commitment and dedication to the service unit and Girl Scouts. We wish them well in their new roles and future endeavors.
- Elisa Hilliard and Marilou Thomas will be co-managing the service unit with Elisa as Daisy/Brownie/Junior Service Unit (including Daisy/Brownie/Junior IRM’s) and Marilou as Cadette/Senior/Ambassador Service Unit Manager (including Cadette/Senior/Ambassador IRM’s).
